A scenic 33.5-mile long lake offering boating, fishing (black bass, catfish and stripers), waterskiing, canoeing and swimming. Four parks operated by the Brazos River Authority provide boat ramps, public swimming, camping and picnicking. Granbury City Beach, operated by the City of Granbury, provides a boat ramp, public swimming and picnicking.

FOSSIL RIM WILDLIFE CENTER

A 2,900-acre wildlife conservation center featuring  over 1,000 endangered and exotic animals. A scenic 9-mile drive-through route provides close-up views. Restaurant, snack bar, fift shop and picnic areas are located in the park.
