Six Flags Over Texas
Texas' outstanding

Fair Park
Dallas is the home
of Texas State Fair held each October. On the grounds of the Texas State Fair, the largest fair of its kind in the world, is the million-dollar Hall of State which houses the Dallas Historical Society and an elaborate museum of early pioneer Texas. The exhibits are valuable and worth careful attention. The Hall of State is dedicated to the heroes of Texas history. It is open year round. Also on the grounds are the Museum of Fine Arts, the Texas Museum of Natural history, and the Aquarium.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza
Main Street, West of Market Street. A cenotaph (empty tomb) designed by Philip Johnson stands as a tribute to the late president. The work was funded by
donations from thousands of Dallas residents.
