Six  Flags Over Texas
Texas' outstanding theme amusement park offers more than 100 rides, shows, and attractions. Major attractions include the Texas Giant, the world's tallest roller coaster; the Shock Wave, the world's fastest double loop roller coaster; the Spinnaker, a whirling ride which spins passengers upside down as well as around; and the  Texas Chute Out, a high rise parachute jump ride. Many restaurants and snack  stands are located throughout he beautifully landscaped grounds.Musical shows  are scheduled for the Southern Palace, Crazy Horse Saloon, and Good Time  Theatre. Wet  'n' Wild Water  Park

Fair Park
Dallas is the home of Texas State Fair held each October. On the grounds of the Texas  State Fair, the largest fair of its kind in the world, is the million-dollar Hall of State which houses the Dallas Historical Society and an elaborate museum of early  pioneer Texas. The exhibits are valuable and worth careful attention. The Hall  of State is dedicated to the heroes of Texas history. It is open year round.  Also on the grounds are the Museum of Fine Arts, the Texas Museum of Natural  history, and the Aquarium.

Dallas Market Center Complex
2100 Stemmons Freeway.Painting and contemporary sculpture have been placed around the various buildings making up the complex, including the Home Furnishing Mart, the World Trade Center(ground floor open to public), Dallas Trade Mart, Market Hall, Apparel Mart, and Stemmons Tower Building.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza
Main Street, West of Market Street. A cenotaph (empty tomb)  designed by Philip Johnson stands as a tribute to the late president. The work  was funded by donations from thousands of Dallas residents.
